About Amora: The parish of Amora is part of a relatively young municipality, which despite following the aging trend of the rest of the Portuguese population has been doing so at a slower pace. According to data from INE, the population of Amora is mostly characterized by a population of working age. In the 60s and 70s, there was a large influx of migrations from other areas of the country, mainly from the South, after April 25, 1974, with the arrival of immigrants from the PALOP. As a parish, it appears at the end of the 20th century. XIV, remained under the domain of Almada until 1936 when it became part of the newly created municipality of Seixal.
