Structure and Materials
The outer areas of houses include functionality of framing and integration, leisure, nature, experience, protection and privacy.
The structure, mostly defined by the paths in the gardens, in irregular stone slabs, defines areas of use, points of interest and functionality. The material, equivalent to the wall lining, establishes a strong relationship between the housing and the garden.
Inert marble coatings reinforce the relationship with the built element, while the pine bark coating establishes the relationship to Earth and Nature.
Vegetation
With a rich composition, the selected vegetation primacy species adapted to the conditions of the site and framed in the pretensions of the global concept, such as Oliveira, Aroeira, the Loureiro and the Medrinheiro that establish a naturalized and rustic environment.
With low maintenance, they offer color, texture, smell, biodiversity, food and animal refuge, namely for birds and bees, in a diversity and evolution that accompanies the seasons, with elements of interest all year. In small plants stand out the lavezema and rosemary, rosemary worshiped by bees and edible such as strawberries, grapes or raspberries.
In trees, in addition to structure, volume and shadow, we have the fruit trees such as lemon and orange tree, which besides the fruit offer a citrus smell to the garden.
